Wayne Pollard is a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker, holding licenses in multiple states. He works with clients facing depression, anxiety, shifting life roles, relationship struggles, and loss, helping them uncover clarity, build coping skills, and move forward with purpose. Wayne has extensive experience providing therapy across diverse settings, supporting clients in gaining insight and creating meaningful change in their lives. A favorite role in his career was working for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he provided care for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). This work led to an opportunity to contract with NOVARTIS Pharmaceuticals to train CF clinics nationwide on a treatment adherence protocol. He has also held academic and leadership roles, including serving as a Director of Field Education and Assistant Professor of Social Work, and developing a behavioral health integration program within primary care. Wayne holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from East Carolina University. He considers it a privilege to hold space for clients’ growth and healing, and finds particular meaning in those “aha” moments when insight sparks new possibilities.
