Dr. Sarah J. Getz is a neuropsychologist with over 13 years of experience in clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience. She earned her Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Princeton University and completed her postdoctoral respecialization in clinical neuropsychology at Suffolk University, where she trained in Harvard-affiliated hospitals. Dr. Getz served as Chief Intern and Neuropsychology Intern at the Miami VA before completing her fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology. Throughout her career, she has led interdisciplinary teams in diagnosing and managing concussions and related cognitive disorders. Her research has been supported by the Alzheimer's Association Clinician Scientist Fellowship and the McKnight Clinical Translational Research Scholarship in Cognitive Aging and Age-Related Memory Loss, focusing on decision-making in Alzheimer’s disease and scam susceptibility in older adults. Dr. Getz is dedicated to helping individuals with mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) achieve better outcomes and emphasizes the role of healthy lifestyle changes in supporting brain health and recovery.
