Dr. Rebecca A. Steele is a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in neuropsychology and specialized experience in traumatic brain injury, concussion, and neuropsychological assessment. She previously served as Head of the Traumatic Brain Injury Division within CitiMed’s Neuroscience Department, where she evaluated individuals following motor vehicle and work-related injuries, assessed post-concussive symptoms and readiness to return to work, and provided clinical supervision.
Dr. Steele earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University and completed advanced neuropsychology training at Northwell Health – Staten Island University Hospital, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, and Advanced Neuropsychology LLC. Her clinical background includes cognitive and emotional assessment, presurgical evaluation, rehabilitation planning, and culturally responsive care for medically and diagnostically diverse adults.
Dr. Steele is licensed in New York and Georgia, holds PSYPACT authorization, and is credentialed as a Health Service Psychologist through the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. She takes an individualized approach focused on clarifying cognitive concerns and translating evaluation findings into practical recommendations for recovery and daily functioning.
